Hello. I have been pondering the need people express for structuring the education of disadvantaged children and would ask the question, "Were their parents (typically) educated in a similar way to which you wish to award these children?" Did education show them results?
If not, I would hope that the purpose of the education would be to associate these children with great examples in lifestyles - including their own.
As far as structuring education, in my own experience, I have resisted the experience as I have felt betrayed by education. I could not learn in my own schools what would have been valuable information as when I dropped out of school, I chose a spiritual life. If I had been introduced to concepts that I finally after 20 years of spiritual study "deciphered" from my reading, I feel that I would have been better prepared for the circumstances I now find myself in.
