Cisco Entrepreneur Institute at AMIDEAST

AMIDEAST is a private, nonprofit organization that provides programs and services to improve educational opportunities and quality, strengthen local institutions and develop language and professional skills for success in the global economy. The Cisco Entrepreneur Institute is a global initiative to help entrepreneurs start, grow and IT-enable their businesses. It fosters innovation, growth, and prosperity and helps entrepreneurs by providing: entrepreneur-specific business training developed by Cisco in cooperation with Stanford University, Cornell University, and My Own Business, Inc.; a resource center where entrepreneurs can find sound business advice, mentoring, and services; Internet business solutions for enterprises; and an on-line community of other entrepreneurs in the MENA region and around the world. Cisco Entrepreneur Institute workshops are offered by the following regional AMIDEAST offices: Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, and West Bank/Gaza. Workshops include: Starting a Business; Growing a Business iExec Enterprise Essentials; iExec Public Sector Essentials; Entrepreneurial Mindset; Career Essentials; and Computer Literacy. Workshops are delivered by local successful entrepreneurs and include multiple presentations by guest speakers and workshop advisors who themselves are local entrepreneurs or experts on specific workshop topics. Note: The workshops, materials, and resources were developed by Cisco as part of its corporate social responsibility commitment. All Cisco Entrepreneurship partners, including AMIDEAST, do not profit from the workshops. The fees for attending the workshops are set to cover the costs of providing them.
